“ Excellent fish and chips mushy peas bread and butter and a pot of tea. The fish was lovely crispy light batter. Very good service. Thank you. Will return soon. ”
“ We stopped here for a spot of lunch whilst on a day out. The food and service are excellent. The price seemed a little high but due to the quality of the food it wasn't a big issue. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area and looking for good quality fish and chips, the menu is quite extensive if you are looking for something else. ”
“ Delicious!! Easily up there with the best I've ever had, the Irish curry sauce was brilliant too. Reasonable price and generous portion sizes. Would 100% return here! ”
“ Had a fantastic 'Yorkshire Deal' fish and chips meal at Quayside. Whenever we are in Whitby Quayside is our fish and chips restaurant of choice, we almost always sit in to eat although you can get take away. The quality of the food is outstanding, perhaps a bit dearer than some places, but it's worth it. The Yorkshire deal allows either cod or haddock (I always opt for haddock), chips, mushy peas, a slice of bread and butter and a pot or tea. The staff did allow my wife to swap the mushy peas for gravy. The food came out swiftly and we enjoyed them in a lovely decorated and spacious restaurant. Quayside have not tried to cram too many tables in, which makes for a great meal experience. We will no doubt be back there later in the year when we visit Whitby next. ”
“ Lovely place for gluten free fish and chips, the batter was amazing and crisp, and piping hot. Superb fish and GF bread, washed down with a GF beer. Felt like a real treat. ”
“ Fantastic gluten free fish & chips, we had the cod and onion rings. lovely knowledgeable staff, batter was so good best I’d tasted in England. All items on main menu listed as gluten free. No separate menu required. ”
“ Great service, great table in lounge bar overlooking the harbour. Has the cleanest toilets I think I've ever been in! Fish and Chips were OK.....overpriced pickled egg however ”
“ Dived in here out of the rain and struck lucky. Steak pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy, and a cappuccino. Really good food, lovely staff and nice restaurant. Popped upstairs to the loo (which btw, was super clean) and there's a lovely bar and seating area. Don't know exactly what it cost as my son got the bill whilst I was upstairs ”
